“Ta da” my first panels.

I can now show you my first panel, air condition from the overhead. Oh boy do I like the result, I just hope dimensions are correct! Basically it is white plexiglass first painted black and then with sort of airbus color.

The green path lines… I made some variations with different thinned green colors and varnishes however, no combination was transparent enough for the back light. In the end, I tried weathering trick with watercolors. The winning mix was old green tube watercolor and some detergent with water in right ratio. I guess when finished it will need a final semigloss finish. I made my life more difficult by choosing 2mm white plexiglass for cutting and engraving. To get to 5 mm panel thickness I will glue 2 mm to 3 mm clear plexiglass and to another 4 mm layer for DZUS. This way I will be able to hide the screws for the switch panel ant backlight LEDs at the back, at least I hope so.
