My pedestal came without throttle transducers and it’s usually like that. Therefore I was thinking what could be the easiest way to interface throttle and finally found a solution. I noticed that the TCU has an accessible mechanical-detent axis which I could use. I got two metal wall anchors to fit TCU axis gap and made customized M10 threaded rods for attaching 36 tooth gear.
Inserted metal anchors and M10 in TCU.
Added potentiometer with 35 teeth gear attached on pedestal frame. Connected to IO board analogue connections, some fine tuning, axis calibration and throttles where alive.
Throttle interfaced.
