PS1 screen for MCDU.

I heard that best or maybe also the only screens for MCDU’s are those 5″ LCD screen from Sony PS1. After a long search I finally found some and took one for testing. With some effort, I managed to get a picture on it with AST MCDU.

This looks promising but it is still a long way from picture to a working MCDU. All the buttons…! I also noticed that my display opening (height 96 mm, width 103 mm) is slightly too high! And display view angle again, you may notice on the picture above that screen contrast is fading. I turned the screen upside down and got much better picture.
