It’s been a long time since I made my last post on this blog. What can I say, I’ve been quite busy being a father of twins… Cockpit construction practically stopped at this point, there was no visible progress.
However in the meantime I managed to obtain some original parts like overhead and pedestal frame. Sadly none will actually fit my current cockpit project at the moment!
Pedestal will need some sort of raised floor as part of the frame extends below the cockpit floor line. Same goes for the overhead frame, because of its weight I will have to change and redesign all cockpit ceiling ribs and supporting columns. Basically I will have to start almost all over again.
Nonetheless, I am looking forward to this update with original parts. I will try to build and add as much original parts as possible. Be aware, once you feel the original part it is hard to get back to replica!
